Hari Kaur Founder of Hari NYC, directs and teaches Kundalini Yoga Classes and Teacher Trainings, Level 1 and Level 2, in the US and abroad. Hari is co-author of “A Woman’s Book of Yoga: Embracing Our Natural Life Cycles” (Penguin 2002) and author of “A Woman’s Book of Meditation: Discovering the Power of a Peaceful Mind” (Penguin 2006). She is the former Director of Education and Training of Golden Bridge NYC (2007-2009). Prior to that Hari taught classes and training programs to all ages and levels. She shared Kundalini Yoga in high schools, taught specialized classes in area Boston hospitals, founded the Illumined Woman courses that highlight the Kundalini yoga practices and teachings for women at all stages of life including pregnancy, taught classes focused on creativity and the arts at Berklee College of Music, and more. For 10 years she taught for Yogi Bhajan, co-directing his Level One Teacher Trainings in New Mexico and India. Hari is a caring, inspiring, and down to earth teacher, making the powerful and healing teachings of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan accessible to students of all levels. Inspired by years of study with Yogi Bhajan, Hari continues to serve all who come with smiles, and spirit.
Married to jazz musician Dave Frank, Hari and Dave make their home in New York City bringing music and yoga to uplift the spirit.
SIRI RISHI KAUR , the founder of RISHI RETREATS and Beloved Yogi Harlem, is a KRI Kundalini Yoga Teacher and has been teaching Kundalini Yoga to everyone from 4 year olds to adults to seniors, as well as leading workshops and organizing kirtans through out the East Coast for the past 12 years. She is also a teacher for Bent On Learning, teaching Yoga to children in the NYC Public School System. Her style is extremely intuitive and aligned with reminding us of the true purpose of a Yoga practice, and that is to remember the “Oneness between us and the Divine” Siri Rishi’s passion is to create Earth Conscious Communities sharing Yoga & Meditation to expand beyond our limitations, and experience a life practice of making the impossible possible. It is her mission to share these powerful teachings with all beings near and far, She is in a constant state of joy, gratitude, and reverence to her beloved teachers Yogi Bhajan, Hari Kaur, Satkirin Kaur, many more and All of the Elements. Siri Rishi lives in Manhattan with her 16 year old daughter Jaya – Paul Allen.
